Our second Papertrey Pals challenge has been issued. Liz D issued a ValenPallenge - we were to create any project that incorporated Valentine's & Sewing. I love the look of sewing on cards but don't have a machine. Instead, I pierced the paper to make faux stitching. This card was made for my DH.
First, I embossed the background in a flourish pattern. The heart is a glitter cardstock that is off set with a hand made black paper. I peirced the flourish in red to expose the more mustard cardstock underneath. On the inside, to hide the stitching, I tore the black paper to create a jagged edge and then covered it with a torn strip of red.
Thanks for stopping by~ MamaReebs

Love all the sparkle! Great way to hide the piercing on the inside.
That's so pretty! Love the sparkly flourishes.
Oh, it's so nice, did you use stickles? I love the glittery flourish however you did it. Nice job.
Super Duper Pretty!!!
The sparkles are `a la mode sparkle embossing powder. Thanks pals!
I love the sparkle on this, and the simple design of the card is just beautiful!!
I love the simplicity in this card. You offered just enough glitter to not "overdo" it... quite beautiful! :)
What a pretty card! Love the glitter and sparkle!
